Blue Collar Coffee (Located at 523 Milwaukee St., Delafield WI 53018) has built an outstanding reputation for itself in the Lake Country area.

In an age filled with chain coffee shops that cater to on the go lifestyles, Blue Collar feels like a great place to slow down. It’s front porch is the first thing you see, a wooden planked walkway filled with tables and chairs for guests to sit down and enjoy the nice weather. On Saturdays, it provides the perfect people watching platform for the Delafield Farmers Market, located just down the street.

Once you step inside, Blue Collar takes its guests into a world of its own. From the unique decorations to the incredible menu, everything about Blue Collar is designed to stand out.

Blue Collar Coffee was first established in Wisconsin in 2018. The first location opened in Beloit, where it has served that downtown area great coffee with plenty of midwestern charm.

The following year, the Geronimo Hospitality Group opened the second Blue Collar location at its current spot in Delafield. The group operates numerous restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment facilities. In Delafield, they also currently operate the Delafield Hotel, Bark River Crossfit, and the nearby Red Circle Inn.

The inviting atmosphere of Blue Collar is incredibly memorable, and its spacious seating is cozy and never cramped. The decorations feel homey and chic. Their fun additions such as a retro telephone and vintage accessories allow the place to ooze with a Wisconsin focused charm.

All of the coffee served is hand roasted by Ruby Colorful Coffee, a brand based out of Nelsonville, WI. Ruby created a special blend to be served at the shop, called the Blue Collar Creamery Seasonal Blend. It has a rich, carefully crafted flavor profile that is meant to be smooth and easy to drink.

Their menu has high quality coffee house favorites, like tea, espresso, and smoothies. However, it is hard not to resist their seasonal drink specials. For summer 2025, they have options like a Neapolitan latte, a cookies and cream cold brew, and an orange creamsicle matcha. The baristas are all knowledgable and eager to recommend their favorite drinks to this willing to try something new.

They food lineup also encourages visitors to sit and enjoy the day while having a bite. Their pastry case is stocked each morning with tasty baked goods that are hard to resist (The cinnamon rolls are a must-try). They also have breakfast burritos and sandwiches available for both breakfast and lunch.

Blue Collar’s popularity is evident through its gradual expansion. There are now two additional locations operating outside of Wisconsin: One in Indiana and one in Idaho. However, Blue Collar never loses sight of the hard working roots that make it feel like a home away from home.
