A brand new brunch restaurant named ‘Waking Daisy’ is slated to open at the Corners of Brookfield this summer. It is set to be located between Fresh Fin, a poke restaurant, and Sweetgreen, a healthy salad and bowl eatery. The new place, a self proclaimed “All Day Cafe” will give locals a hope new brunch spot to check out. Construction has begun, with walls going up indicating where the new build will reside. As of now, Waking Daisy is set to finish construction at the beginning of June, and will open shortly thereafter. It will be open seven days a week, with service beginning at 7 a.m. daily.

Waking Daisy’s menu will include breakfast, lunch, and an assortment of brunch favorites. Additionally, they will also have a fun range of cocktails for guests to enjoy, including mimosas and Bloody Marys. For the time being, a specific menu has not been set. However, the owners have teased a few options, such as pancakes and eggs benedict. There will also be a seasonal menu that rotates accordingly.

The space was previously occupied by “Here Chicky, Chicky”, a friend chicken and champagne restaurant that closed in 2024. Although that restaurant had a unique, farm fresh menu, it is no longer operating. The new brunch spot, Waking Daisy, may have a different approach. Instead of Here Chicky, Chicky’s southern inspired menu, this new restaurant will be more brunch focused.

The Corners of Brookfield have been expanding since they first opened. The addition of new, high end retail stores and beloved restaurants has made it a destination unlike any other. It draws a clientele from all across southeastern Wisconsin, as it has many great features. The outdoor mall often has fun, seasonal photo ops and family focused events, such as Easter bunny meet and greets. In summer, the Corners holds car shows and food truck gatherings.

Waking Daisy is expected to be a delightful new addition to the Corners. June can’t come soon enough for breakfast lovers!
