KEY POINTS

  • AFP spends $1 million on a digital ad campaign supporting their endorsement of Tim Michels.
  • State Director of AFP Wisconsin, Eric Bott, says “it is clear Governor Evers isn’t up for the job.”
  • Tim Michels plan involves universal school choice, tackling bloated government spending, and fixing the broken tax system.

Americans for Prosperity is investing $1 million in a digital ad campaign to support their decision to endorse Republican Tim Michels for Governor. These digital ads are part of a statewide effort to appeal to swing voters in Milwaukee and Fox Valley. They are set to run until September 30, 2022, on YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.

AFP has chosen Tim Michels because they’ve identified him as a leader committed to supporting meaningful and valuable policy reform, fiscal responsibility, and expanding opportunities for each resident of Wisconsin. They will use grassroots mobilization strategies, direct mail, and digital advertisements supporting Michels.

State Director of AFP Wisconsin, Eric Bott, stated the investment, “For too long Wisconsin has been plagued with disastrous policies that make it harder for our families to succeed. From too many children not learning the basics of reading and writing, to energy and grocery prices skyrocketing, and public safety collapsing – it is clear Governor Evers isn’t up for the job.”

He addresses the opportunity we have to change Wisconsin’s future in November.

“In November, we have the opportunity to elect a leader who will help transform our state to make everyday life more affordable and get families and businesses back on their feet,” said Michels.

Tim Michels Offers Wisconsin Something Different

Michels supports increased educational opportunities for every student and child in the badger state. Tim Michels is aware that each child deserves access to quality education, an education that suits their needs. He has consistently advocated universal school choice for all families and will continue fighting for education reform in Wisconsin.

The Republican candidate also understands there is a consequential battle to be won regarding the state economy. He sees that Wisconsinites are finding it exceedingly challenging to afford to live. Michels plans to address bloated government spending and restore the state’s broken tax system, ensuring families and residents can keep more of the money they work so hard to earn.
