The Arrowhead High School football team is preparing for the WIAA 2025 State Championship game against Bay Port. The game is scheduled to be held on Friday, November 21 at 4 pm at Camp Randall Stadium.
Arrowhead has had an exciting 2025 season with a winning 12-1 record. Statewide, they are ranked No. 2, right behind No. 1 ranked West De Pere. This makes the team one of Arrowhead’s most victorious in recent years.
The team’s only loss this season came from a Classic 8 conference play against Muskego where they lost 21-17 in a close but well fought game.
The 2025 season started with back to back non conference wins against Marquette and Neenah. In conference play, they scored wins against Waukesha West, Pewaukee, Oconomowoc, Hamilton, Kettle Moraine, and Mukwonago in overtime.
In the WIAA Division1 playoffs so far, Arrowhead earned a top seed and opened with a home win against Wausau West at level one. They then rallied from behind to defeat Sussex Hamilton in a level matchup, which saw Arrowhead redeem themselves with a 21 point comeback.
On Friday, November 14, Arrowhead squared off against Waunakee. Ultimately, Arrowhead came out on top with a narrow 19-17 win that was earned by the powerful team’s strategy and strength.
Fans of the Arrowhead Warhawks are gearing up to show up to the game on Friday, with many planning on making the trip out to Madison to see whether or not they will land the Division title.
Safety concerns have been addressed, with the team making sure that visitors check the size of their bags and accessories before planning the enter the stadium. They have also asked fans not to bring drones, food and beverages, laptops, or large bags such as backpacks.
