A new store will soon be arriving at The Corners of Brookfield.
MeatEater is the perfect new spot for outdoorsmen. Currently, it is planned to be opening at the very beginning of fall in 2025. Signs and construction equipment for the new store were visible early last week. MeatEater will be offering an abundance of sportswear equipment for hunters, fishers, and campers. The new space will feature a variety of high quality, hand selected products such as clothes, gear, and cooking equipment.
The Brookfield location will be the first MeatEater store in the midwest, and only the third store nationwide. Their flagship store is located in Bozeman, Montana. The company’s partner, First Lite, has a store of its own in Hailey, Idaho.
The MeatEater Company and brand was founded by the television personality and podcaster Steven Rinella. Rinella has made a name for himself through his passionate interest in the outdoors. He constantly advocates for the ethical preservation of wildlife and is known as a champion of conservation. He is also an author, writing numerous books about the topic such as “MeatEater: Adventures From the Life of an American Hunter” and “American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon”.
Rinella founded the aptly named MeatEater Company as a way to join some of his favorite outdoor brands together. Among these are:
- First Lite- Technical hunting apparel and comfortable, high performance gear
- FHF Gear- Purpose built outdoor accessories
- Phelps- High quality game calls
- Dave Smith Decoys- Ultra realistic and durable decoys
MeatEaters also has several partnerships with influencers in the conservation space that are dedicated to “sustainable hunting and fishing practices”. Among these are On X, Moultrie Mobile, and Sig Sauer.
The MeatEater brand has become exceedingly popular with the help of its founder, Rinella. On his titular website, he frequently posts articles covering the latest news for outdoorsmen. He also uploads recipes, videos, podcasts, themed games, and occasionally, MeatEater hosts special event trips for dedicated guests willing to pay.
The address of the new store will be 340 Lord St., Brookfield, WI 53045. It is located in the space across from Sendiks in the upper lot. Currently, it is planning on being open seven days a week.
