With the holidays quickly approaching, many people are preparing for the upcoming fun of decorations, parties, and family dinners. However, the beginning of autumn also marks the end of classic car shows in Wisconsin.
Due to the threats or rust and decay on older automobiles, many classic cars have to be put into storage to prevent corrosion and damage from the wild Wisconsin winters.
2025 has been an unseasonably warm year, with October setting several record breaking high temperatures. Thankfully, this has given many local car owners the opportunity to keep their vehicles out for a longer period of time. However, as October ends, temperatures have dropped, and overnight frosts become more frequent, the season is finally coming to a close.
Sweet Dreams in Hartland isn’t going out without one last great hurrah.
The local ice cream and burger joint has hosted several classic car shows throughout the year. Their final show, held on Sunday, October 26, will send off the 2025 season in style.
It is perhaps the last time that the event will be held at that specific location in Hartland. Event organizers considered moving it to a park, but decided to host the show at the parking lot next door that they have frequently used in the past.
This may be the last time they have a car show in that lot, as there are plans for a police station to be built there soon.
Organizers have called this event “special”, and it certainly feels that way. With the sun shining and riders getting ready to say goodbye to their beloved vehicles for a few months, there’s definitely something special about the day.
The free event is open to the public and will proudly welcome anyone between 3 pm and 7 pm (Meaning there’s plenty of time to get home before the Packer game).
Sweet Dreams will be serving up all of their incredibly delicious food, selling their juicy hamburgers, tasty milkshakes, and their locally renowned custard.
In addition to the lineup of amazing cars, there will also be outdoor games so that the whole family can get involved and engage with their community.
All kinds of vehicles are welcome: Classic cars, hyper cars, motorcycles, trucks, and perhaps even a few semi trucks.
“Let’s go crazy one last time and fill this lot with horsepower, chrome, and good vibes”.
