Wisconsin Badgers fans are beyond frustrated after witnessing their team blow a 21-10 lead against the USC Trojans, ultimately losing 38-21. The Badgers gave up 28 unanswered points, leaving fans angry and disillusioned. According to Outkick, this loss is just the latest in a string of disappointing performances for Wisconsin, following a defeat against Alabama. Now, the team faces serious questions about its direction under head coach Luke Fickell.

Social media erupted after the game, with fans venting their frustrations and calling for change. One fan commented, “Giving up 28 unanswered points in the 2nd half. Idk if that’s more of an indictment on the offense or defense. This sh*t is just pathetic.” Others questioned Fickell’s coaching strategy, with one remarking, “Feel free to fire Fickell,” while another stated, “It’s a sin what this coward Fickell put on the field in the 2H.”

Former Wisconsin athletes even took to social media to express their dismay, a clear sign that the program’s problems run deep. Losing to powerhouse Alabama might be understandable, but collapsing against USC, especially after leading by 11 points at halftime, is not acceptable to many.

Fans are now questioning the team’s identity, with one stating, “This is a mediocre, irrelevant program now. It’s just who we are.” As the season continues, Wisconsin’s football program will need to make significant changes to regain the trust of its loyal fanbase.
