The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee is introducing a brand new Spring themed light show. The show will be a walk through experience only, as it winds through the trails beside the Hotel. It will feature an array of characters, animations, and spectacular light displays that are all themed around the spring season. The show is slated to open on March 20 of 2025 for the first time ever. After the opening night, the experience will run nightly from March 20-30, April 3-6, 10-13, 17-20, and 24-27. Entry times being at 6 p.m. and the show will close at 9 p.m., with the last admission ticket for each evening being sold at 8 p.m.
Guests can expect to encounter a whole new, magical world of evening lights that they hey never witnessed before. According to the hotel, some of the new offerings will include “Vibrant spring displays, including Easter lights, blooming flowers, butterflies, and more.”
Unlike previous light shows that the Ingleside has hosted, this event will not be a drive through. Cars and other vehicles are not allowed, meaning that attendees will walk through the wooded area. The pathway through the show is made of asphalt, meaning that it will be accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and scooters. However, guests should be aware of the possibility for low temperatures. It is recommended that guests dress according to the weather, making preparations for cooler temperatures after sunset.
The spring light show serves as a welcome extension of the Ingleside’s beloved tradition of putting on a winter-themed Country Christmas event. The Christmas show has long been a Lake Country tradition, allowing families to marvel at the wonders of festive holiday displays. In the past, it has also featured hot chocolate and cookies as well as the opportunity to see and meet with Santa Claus. Due to weather limitations, the Country Christmas has primarily been a vehicle oriented experience, where cars drive through the park to witness to lighting displays.
The Ingleside Hotel is not stopping the Spring celebrations there, though. In addition to the lights, they will be hosting an Easter Brunch on April 20 in their ballroom. Children at the brunch will be allowed to participate in an Easter egg hunt in the nearby outdoor Village Park at noon. The Ingleside’s commitment to providing unique holiday experiences will now continue well into the springtime season.
