Lake Country ‘Shop Hop’ Lets Local Businesses Shine
April 11, 2025

Spring can be a difficult season as Wisconsin awaits warmer weather. For many small businesses, cooler temperatures can lead to slow sales. To combat this, several local stores have banded together for a “Round Robin Shop Hop” on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12. During each store’s hours of operation, Lake Country residents are encouraged to visit each participating store. The stores provide colorful bingo cards to guests. At each stop, participants receive a stamp on their bingo card. The reward for visiting each store and filling out the card is a chance to win gift cards from each store, which total over $150.

The stores involved in the Round Robin Shop Hop include:

  • Harvest Home (505 Capitol Dr., Pewaukee)
  • Roost Mercantile, Vintage Barn Chicks, Loft & Cottage (N47 W28270 Lynndale Rd., Pewaukee)
  • Lorraine’s Legacy (109 E. Capitol Dr., Hartland)
  • Lake & Pine Co. (617 Main St., Delafield)

These stores are some of Lake Country’s finest, all locally owned and operated by passionate businesspeople. Throughout these stores, a variety of goods are offered. Each business has a unique sense of style, according to the owner’s and the employees’ tastes.

Roost Mercantile, Vintage Barn Chicks, and Loft & Cottage are all located on the same piece of property, although each has a different store front. Side by side, the difference between the three are evident. Each shop is high quality and brimming with personality, but in distinct ways. Vintage Barn Chicks is, indeed, located in a barn and has a rustic, down to earth glamour. Next door, Loft & Cottage is lovely and chic, featuring an array of carefully selected products to enhance your home. Roost Mercantile has a little bit of everything, and you never know what creative find might be just around the corner. The shared address makes these three businesses a great place to start on the Shop Hop journey.

The Round Robin Shop Hop also has some special ‘Local sips and snacks’ deals. These are fun ways to rest and refuel between business stops. Both BJ’s Crafty Tap (1230 George Towne Dr., Suite E, Pewaukee) and Pink Mocha Cafe (418 Merton Ave., Hartland) have drink deals for those participating in the event. The S3 Deli (131 E. Capitol Dr., Hartland) is featuring a sandwich, chips, and drink for $10 combo.

The event is a fun way for residents to get to know their beloved local businesses a little bit better. Even the most steadfast window shoppers are sure to find something that sparks their interest. The unique stores, fresh spring products, and friendly faces are more than enough reason to check out the Round Robin Shop Hop.
