For the past 12 years, the Pink Mocha Cafe has been Hartland’s pink paradise and a hotspot for some of the tastiest food in town. This weekend, Pink Mocha unveiled its long awaited expansion. The cozy coffee house now has a fully functional separate seating space, offering plenty of room for sit down service, live music, and brunch-y bites.
According to the owner, Heidi, she has been looking to expand her cafe for a long time. A creative culinary genius, Heidi is always on the hunt for how to add new items to her store’s inventory. The new space allows her the opportunity to grow, much to the delight of the countless locals who have fallen in love with Pink Mocha. For about two months, she and her team helped adapt and transform the space so that it would match her vision. Heidi adores pink, and her love of the color is evident throughout the shop. The new space has pink flowers covering the ceiling, pink paint on the walls, and a neon pink “Pink Mocha” sign that is as brilliant as her baking.
Earlier this year, Pink Mocha hit the jackpot when it introduced the now-famous Dubai chocolate strawberry cups. After posting about the colorfully delicious cups on TikTok, the video went viral. People came from Madison, Green Bay, and the Illinois border to get a taste. For Saturday’s grand opening of the new expansion, dozens of cups had to be made in preparation.
Heidi only uses the best, highest quality ingredients in everything she makes. From the strawberries in the Dubai chocolate cups to the blueberries in her pancakes, every dish has a freshness that can’t be missed. Everything sold at Pink Mocha is baked in-house and from scratch. The stacked bakery case is hard to resist, but everyone who comes into the coffee house must try their signature chocolate chip cookies. Loaded with chocolate chips and bursting with buttery flavor, these perfectly textured cookies are thick, decadent, and unforgettable.
Pink Mocha’s new addition is the perfect love letter to her customers. The new space allows for more guests to enjoy the remarkable food and atmosphere. Offering live music on weekends, the cafe can’t just be visited, it has to be experienced. Heidi has poured her heart and soul into making the space feel special, and it shows on the smiling faces of countless happy customers. “I’ve weather many storms and I’m still here. It’s all thanks to my family and my staff- They’ve stuck by me through thick and thin,” Heidi says of her growing business.
Heidi has a mantra about her cafe: “Baking is love made visible”. In the expanded Pink Mocha, there’s plenty of room for every baked good imaginable, from banana bread to blueberry scones. Their breakfast and lunch selections are equally as delectable, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory dishes. For those dining inside of the coffee house, they’ll find Heidi’s passion impossible to miss. You can definitely see (And taste!) the love inside the Pink Mocha Cafe.
