Congressman Bryan Steil released his first television ad of the 2022 campaign cycle, and it’s called “Back the Blue.” He said, “Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community. Everyone. It’s critical that we support our men and women of law enforcement and ensure that they have the resources they need to protect and serve our communities. I will never stop working for them or you.”
Various police officers featured in the ad stated, “There has never been a tougher time to be a police officer—fighting crime with fewer resources. And now, a raging fentanyl crisis. And that’s why we need leaders who always have our back, and Bryan Steil always has our back.”

Milwaukee homicides are on pace to surpass last year’s record, and Kenosha has seen violent crime rates jump 26%.
