The parcel of land is slated to be turned into two well known and beloved nationwide restaurants, one being Chipotle and the other being First Watch.
Both of these restaurants have locations in Brookfield and Pewaukee, but the addition of these two businesses to Oconomowoc will only help expand their loyal customer base. Chipotle has become a sensation with its build your own meal style of service allows for customization of Mexican favorites like burritos and bowls. First Watch is a sit down restaurant featuring breakfast and lunch options that everyone can enjoy.
The Olympia Fields development has been a key part of some of Oconomowoc’s recent successful growth. Located right along Highway 67, it provides direct access to much of the downtown area, other nearby cities, and the entirety of Lake Country. This plot of land lies adjacent to Panera Bread and Landmark Credit Union on Olympia Fields Drive. As the city has been expanding, these new businesses only help increase the diverse and unique offerings within the community.
These new businesses can offer a variety of potential benefits for Oconomowoc. Each will create new job opportunities, increasing the efficiency and employment status of those nearby. It can also help increase local tax revenue, as their contributions to the local tax base help keep money circulating throughout the community. The new builds will allow for the community to stay resilient, as deeper financial roots allow for positive fiscal longevity.
